Terms of Service

reelaxe takes a video file you upload, finds passages that stand on their own, and returns those passages as vertical 9:16 clips, cropped to follow whoever is speaking. Output is 9:16 only at present. Clips are delivered in your dashboard for download.

It is an automated service. Which moments it selects, and how it frames them, are decisions made by software. We do not promise that any particular clip will be produced, or that the selection will match what you would have chosen.

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to that Google account secure. One person or organisation per account.

The service is paid for in minutes of credit. One minute of credit covers one minute of the source file you upload, measured on the file's own duration — not on the number or length of clips returned. Credit is consumed once a job has processed the file, including when the result is no clips.

Credits are a one-off purchase, not a subscription. They do not expire. They have no cash value, are not transferable between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for anything other than use of the service. New accounts receive 10 minutes of credit free of charge on sign-up; these free minutes are spent exactly like purchased credit, one credit-minute per minute of source video, and are subject to these same terms.

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, who acts as merchant of record and will appear on your statement. Their terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are in USD. Refunds are governed by our refunds and cancellation policy.

You must own the video you upload, or have permission from whoever does. That includes the footage, the music, and anyone appearing in it. You keep ownership of what you upload and of the clips produced from it — we claim no rights over your content beyond what is needed to run the service for you.

You grant us permission to store, process and transcode your file for the purpose of producing your clips. We do not use your uploads to train models and we do not publish them anywhere.

Do not use the service to process material that:

• you do not have the rights to;
• is unlawful in your jurisdiction or ours;
• sexualises minors, or depicts real violence or abuse;
• is intended to harass, defame or impersonate someone.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches this, and may refuse a specific job. If we close your account for a breach, unused credit is not refunded.

We do not guarantee uptime and there is no service level agreement. Jobs can fail, and processing times vary with the length of the file and how busy the service is. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give notice and refund unused credit.

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost content, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the law of India, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
