Best moment finder
An AI highlight finder for your long videos
You don't scrub through an hour of footage. reelaxe reads the whole thing and picks the parts that work as clips on their own.
It reads what was said
For podcasts, interviews and talking heads, reelaxe transcribes the speech and splits it into sentences. An AI model reads them, in the language they were spoken, and picks the moments worth posting.
It looks for a moment that:
- opens on a strong line that would make someone stop scrolling, never mid-thought;
- holds one complete thought;
- ends on the payoff: the answer, the punchline, the conclusion.
Fewer strong moments beat many weak ones, so it won't fill up your count with filler.
It cuts in the pauses
The AI picks which sentences make the moment. The cut itself goes in the pause before the first word and the pause after the last, so a clip never starts or ends mid-word. Every speech clip runs 20 to 90 seconds. A pick that can't be cut cleanly in that range is dropped, not forced.
It skips what isn't content
No clip includes:
- "Like, share and subscribe" and other calls to action;
- sponsor reads and promo codes;
- plugs for your own course, merch or "link in the description";
- channel boilerplate like "welcome back" and "thanks for watching".
The AI flags these, and a phrase list catches them as well, including Hindi and Hinglish. Phrases that are also normal conversation, like "thanks for watching", only count near the start or end of the video, so they don't throw away a good moment from the middle.
It still works without the AI
If the AI isn't available, reelaxe still picks moments from the structure of the talk: runs of whole sentences that start and end cleanly, with the speaker well framed. The job message tells you which way it went.
Music works differently
For songs and rhymes there's nothing to read for meaning, so reelaxe looks for what repeats, like the chorus. It cuts in the gaps between sung lines.
Choose Speech or Music when you start a cut, or leave it on Auto and reelaxe listens to a few samples to decide.
You choose how many
Ask for one to ten clips, or leave it on Auto. Your pack sets the most per video. A short or quiet video may give you fewer.
Questions
How does it decide which moments to keep?
For speech, an AI model reads the transcript and picks runs of sentences with a strong opening, one complete thought and a payoff. Each pick is then cut in the natural pauses.
How long are the clips?
Speech clips are 20 to 90 seconds. You can trim any clip afterwards in the editor.
Will my sponsor read end up in a clip?
No clip includes a sentence flagged as a sponsor read, a call to action, self-promotion or an intro or outro.
Why did I get fewer clips than I asked for?
The number you set is a maximum. Shorter or quieter videos may not have that many moments that work on their own.
Does it work for music videos?
Yes. Pick Music, or leave it on Auto. It finds the repeated parts, like the chorus, and cuts between lines.
