Refunds & Cancellation
When you can get your money back, when you cannot, and how to ask.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
The short version
All purchases are final. Credit is non-refundable — including credit you have not used — and there is no subscription to cancel. The one thing we always stand behind is a charge for something you did not get: if we take your money and fail to deliver, we put it right. Nothing here removes the rights you have under consumer law.
Nothing to cancel
reelaxe is not a subscription. You buy minutes when you want them and nothing recurs, so there is no billing to stop and no renewal date to worry about. Leaving your account idle costs nothing.
Credit is non-refundable
Buying credit is a final sale. It does not expire and it is yours to spend whenever you like, but we do not refund it — not the part you have spent, and not the part you have not. There is no change-of-mind refund, so decide how many minutes you need before you buy. The one-time, non-expiring nature of credit is stated before you pay.
Credit you have already spent
A job consumes credit because the service watched and processed your whole file, and that cost is incurred whether the result delighted you or not. In particular, a job that finds nothing worth cutting has still done the work, and still costs its minutes — this is made clear before you buy.
When we put it right
The exception to all of the above is a charge for something you did not receive. In these cases we put the minutes back on your account — or return the payment where there is nothing left to put back:
- a job failed and returned nothing, through a fault on our side;
- the clips were corrupt or unplayable;
- you were charged twice for the same job;
- the service was down and took your credit anyway;
- we discontinue the service entirely, in which case we return the credit you have left.
You do not need to argue any of these. Tell us what happened and we will look at the job record.
How to ask
These are the only cases we return money or credit for. Email jugaad.chhabra@gmail.com with the email address on your account and, if it concerns a specific job, roughly when you ran it. We aim to reply within two working days. Where a payment is returned rather than credited, it goes to the original payment method and typically takes five to ten working days to appear depending on your bank.
Who actually refunds you
Dodo Payments is our merchant of record. They took the payment and they appear on your statement, so the refund is issued by them at our instruction. You do not need to contact them yourself — write to us and we will arrange it.
Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please write to us first. We would rather fix it than contest it, and a chargeback takes considerably longer for you than an email does. Accounts with an unresolved chargeback may be suspended until it is settled.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page removes rights you have by law. If you are a consumer in a region with a statutory cooling-off period or a right to a remedy for a faulty digital service, those rights apply on top of this policy.
